Your First Visit

Things to know about your first appointment with DRCC:

• Please arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled appointment to allow sufficient time for new patient registration.
• Please bring any CT, MRI or PET scans on disc to your appointment.
• You will meet with one of our radiation oncologists, and the visit will include:
  • A health history
  • A physical exam
  • A discussion of treatment recommendations and/or options

It may be necessary to schedule additional diagnostic tests to determine the best course of treatment and/or your physical ability to start treatment. If it is determined that you will benefit from radiation treatment, the radiation oncologist will confer with your referring physician.
